6. Keep water by your bed
Fill up a water bottle right before bed and keep it on your night stand. Drink some before bed, you will wake up needing to pee and that will motivate you to get out of bed. Then drink some in the in the morning. This will help you wake up your brain up easier in the morning. It’s a great way to get more water intake in throughout the day.
7. Turn your phone on do not disturb at night
Turn your phone on airplane mode when you’re ready for bed. This way you won’t be able to text, receive texts, or go on social media, but your alarm will still go off in the morning. Then, once you wake up, wait 30 minutes to an hour before turning it back on. By not waking up to a bunch of notifications, you are less tempted to go on your phone. This will do wonders for your stress levels in the morning.
